Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 lemon
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup self raising flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp mixed spice
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- 2 oz butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup milk
Instructions
- Break into greased basin (in which pudding is to be cooked), the egg, juice of lemon and ½ cup sugar
- Heat until slightly thickened
- Sift flour, salt, spice and cocoa in separate bowl
- Rub in butter, add brown sugar, mix well
- Mix in moist? dough with milk (adding more? if necessary)
- Fill dough on top of lemon mixture in greased basin ??? rapidly
